The OpenIDM community site is live, too, alongside the OpenICF, OpenAM, and OpenDJ community sites. The OpenIDM project is on the way to a version 2 that promises more flexibility, modularity, and scalability that previously available.
The OpenIDM project builds on experience with previous identity management software. Identity management remains a hot spot with much new activity and a lot still being defined and implemented. Now is no doubt a good time if you want to get involved.
If you are interested in identity management, have a look. Consider the Maven modules in progress to get an idea of the capabilities being built in to the software. Check out the code, or get a build to start playing with the core engine yourself. Join the mailing lists to participate in and follow the conversation.
